It's been so long that it really is hard to come back with something that is going to get me rolling! Not that I don't have much to show you all...I sure have been busy. So where to get started.....her we go!
It has been two years since I posted! So much has happened!
I started really selling on Etsy and was happy with what I was doing. But I wanted to do it ALL! I am always "trying" Deborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10291043586986492841noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-239654732710099690.post-55701786693772702742012-10-07T21:40:00.000-04:002012-10-08T21:35:54.678-04:00Snuck up and bit me...ugh!I opened an esty shop to sell some of the items that I have been making. Mostly bows and made-to-order lollipops. (I am working on some toddler purses that I am almost done with and I will be listing within a few days :o) They are adorable and my little darling loves to tote her purses everywhere!) When I opened the shop I was gunho! I wanted to make so many items to sell Deborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10291043586986492841noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-239654732710099690.post-83993098077132126422011-11-15T23:23:00.000-05:002011-11-15T23:23:15.078-05:00Better than a FritterI wanted to share with you all a recipe for Caramel Apple Biscuits that I tested out last night. It was like an apple fritter but better there was tons of flavor and apples throughout. A painlessly simple recipe that has less than 10 ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (I used 2 smaller cans)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, Deborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10291043586986492841noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-239654732710099690.post-3671612441700810062011-11-08T17:41:00.009-05:002011-11-14T16:22:53.129-05:00Sewing for fun and function! I am loving some of the patterns that I can find online, and the amount of patterns is unreal! I recently made a couple of purses for my nieces and my SIL. I found this awesome pattern on Skip to My Lou by a blogger like myself, at Crap I've made. One of the best things is that you only need 2 yards of fabric for each purse! The tutorial for this purse was super easy, was simple Deborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10291043586986492841noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-239654732710099690.post-2908658608546371742011-11-05T00:59:00.011-04:002011-11-05T23:34:26.750-04:00Cold FeetColder weather is fast approaching or should I say it's already here! It was in the 50's today. Now, I know you may not find that cold...but it is for us here in Florida. My daughter needs to have something on her feet to keep her feet warm but she always seems to slip in her socks and house shoes. I came up with this idea in order to make her shoes and socks non-slip!

I wanted my daughters to dress up all matchy matchy just like last year but that didn't happen! We were so busy, starting with a very nice surprise visit from my brother the night before our garage sale that we prepared for for w whole week. He is stationed in Italy and was in the area for schooling. It was so nice to see him and spend some timeDeborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10291043586986492841noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-239654732710099690.post-35022491637765114402011-10-30T15:03:00.005-04:002011-11-04T19:43:37.176-04:00Babies..Babies..Babies I was invited to a baby shower with much advance notice so I wanted to sew something for the mother-to-be. I set out on a hunt to search for the perfect thing. I scoured the wide world web (www) and saw some awesome things to make. My sewing skills are still a bit limited so I wanted something that was somewhat easy and still really nice to give as a gift.

So started out by free handing a pattern onto a commissary paper bag (I love to make my patterns on them....they are GREAT). Picked out my fabrics, pinned, cut, sewed, stuffed and hand sewed the closure and I WAS DONE!
Easy peasyDeborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10291043586986492841noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-239654732710099690.post-16279978966804416192011-10-15T20:51:00.004-04:002011-11-04T19:44:25.875-04:00The little blessings in life Sometimes in the path of life we hit speed bumps. We hit a speed bump this evening. Our main vehicle's radiator has had a small leak in it for awhile. We choose to ignore the problem and "wait until we have the money" to replace it. Well that time has come! So here I sit in this car pondering and thanking God for his blessings as we wait for a tow truck (which has informed us it would be Deborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10291043586986492841noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-239654732710099690.post-23818893845505092672011-10-14T00:25:00.003-04:002011-11-04T19:44:52.190-04:00My newest "TRYING"!SEWING
I learned how to sew in Middle School. Home Economics class and I knew from the moment I picked it off my elective list that it was going to be great. I was so excited to make something from virtually nothing (I think that I have always been in love with that concept..something from nothing). I learned a lot of the basics in that class. How to thread a machine, how Deborahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10291043586986492841noreply@blogger.com0
